NIE: the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2013.
The Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP) and The Learning Sciences Lab (LSL) is pleased to present the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference 2013. The theme of the conference is “Thinking: Time for a Rethink?”. The conference provides a global forum for practitioners, researchers, educational leaders and policy makers to interact and share leading-edge research and best practices across schools and cultures. Over the years, the conference has established a platform for scholars and practitioners from both the East and the West to forge new and innovative directions for educational research and practice.
The Organizing Committee invites proposals to examine disciplinary ideas about thinking and educational change. We encourage submission of presentations from all disciplines: from neurological to psychological, from classroom practice to system-wide policy consideration. The various strands of the conference address the full spectrum of educational concerns with an overarching focus on thinking. In addition to our traditional focus on pedagogical practices, this year, we will include additional symposia that focus on the relevantdisciplines from a pure or applied research perspective.
