Potential new tertiary students will be able to learn more about Federation University Australia’s exciting range of new programs during informal chats in Melton and Caroline Springs in early February.
“Our new programs are designed to be delivered locally to you and to fit into your lifestyle,” Professor Andy Smith, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), said.

To make study easier, the University also will introduce a Foundation Access Studies (FAST) program in Melton and Caroline Springs.
Designed for students returning to study after a long break, the FAST program will allow you to experience university study in a supportive classroom environment.
The FAST program will cover:
- Introduction to tertiary study
- Mathematics and introductory statistics
- Academic writing
- Understanding university learning
Successful completion of these studies guarantees FAST graduates entry into an undergraduate program at Federation University Australia.
One former student, Jaime Bray, said her career had progressed tremendously since she completed the (Fast Track) Advanced Diploma of Management in the region.
“Before I returned to study I was working as a receptionist but after I completed my Advanced Diploma I was able to obtain a job as a business manager in a large medical practice,” Jaime said.
“I would not have been qualified for such a position if I did not do my Advanced Diploma at FedUni. I was able to double my salary in the first year because of the study I did.
“The programs and the teaching staff at FedUni are really designed to help students get where they want to be.”
