NUS Engineering proudly presented the 2017 edition of our annual Engineer Girl workshop, targeted at Secondary 1 and 2 Girls. By introducing Engineering and Physics concepts through hands-on activities in non-traditional forms, we hope to retain and heighten their interest towards Science.
This workshop introduced basic elements of electricity, allowing the participants to build working circuits through use of simple adhesive elements in the form of circuit stickers. Participants were also encouraged to explore and build reactive elements into a craft project of their choice, through a competition between schools.
